Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote.
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Business Partner leads commercialization for the International & Ingredients business, managing a broader and more complex portfolio and ensuring end‑to‑end supply readiness for innovation, promotions, and portfolio evolution. This role serves as the primary supply chain counterpart to senior commercial leaders in International & Ingredients. The Senior Manager drives medium‑term capacity options, scenario recommendations, and executive decision support in close partnership with Contract Manufacturing and Network Optimization teams, while not directly overseeing those functions.
A Day in the Life...
Portfolio & Roadmap Leadership
Own the 12-24 month commercialization roadmap for International & Ingredients; align priorities with the Annual Operating Plan and Long ‑ Range Plan.
Chair or co- chair cross- functional commercialization forums; responsible for disciplined stage- gate governance and clear decision rights , in conjunction with PMO .
Sequence initiatives to balance service, cost, inventory, resilience, and margin goals for international markets and ingredient customers.
Strategy Alignment & Scenario Planning
Translate commercial strategies into executable supply plans and options, including scenario and sensitivity analyses for cross ‑ border and B2B ingredient flows.
Develop forward ‑ looking demand/capacity views (internal and external) with Planning; identify constraints and recommend pre ‑ emptive actions.
Frame trade ‑ offs and recommendations for Director/VP ‑ level decisions with crisp executive summaries and financial implications (service, inventory, landed cost, margin).
Program Leadership & Execution
Lead cross ‑ functional execution for high ‑ impact international launches, regulatory/labeling changes, and ingredient transitions; manage critical path, risk, and change control.
Run operational and strategic service reviews with internal and external stakeholders; drive issue resolution and escalation.
Ensure post ‑ launch review, performance capture, and continuous improvement close ‑ outs; codify learnings into playbooks.
Partnership with Manufacturing (Internal & Coman)
Co ‑ develop capacity sourcing options and timing with CM leadership; support partner onboarding and technology transfer deliverables for international and ingredient portfolios.
Coordinate with Plants, Corporate Supply Chain & Contract Manufacturing leaders on timelines, MOQ/lead ‑ time, qualification activities, and change control
Provide robust volume/mix scenarios, quality/service targets, and readiness requirements ; track performance against launch and export readiness needs.
Support make ‑ vs ‑ buy and standard ‑ cost improvement analyses ; supplier contracting and performance management remain with CM leadership.
Partnership with Network Optimization
Provide business case inputs to network studies (volume, service, cost, resilience) for international routes and ingredient customers; assess timeline impacts.
Co ‑ lead implementation planning for item/plant/DC transitions affecting export markets and ingredient supply; ensure cutover risk mitigation and customer communication alignment.
Support strategic capital planning with Operations, Engineering, and Finance by supplying assumptions and commercialization constraints.
Standards, KPIs & Continuous Improvement
Improve commercialization playbooks, RACIs, and KPIs
D rive adoption and collaboration with commercial function across demand/supply planning, manufacturing, logistics , and customer operations.
Own portfolio ‑ level dashboards and executive readouts (service, inventory, total landed cost, margin to plan).
Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce cycle time and variability across commercialization workflows.
