Experience with in vivo mouse work and multi-parameter immune cell analysis with flow cytometry and RNAseq.

About the Department
The Damo Lab is part of the Section of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago. The lab is led by Dr. Martina Damo, who is a bioengineer and immunologist. The lab studies mechanisms of immune regulation in peripheral tissues, with an emphasis on the role of immune checkpoint receptors as negative regulators of T cell immunity in health and disease. Studies heavily rely on the use of engineered mouse models, tumor models and sometimes human specimens.
Job Summary
The Research Assistant will support the studies in the Damo Lab on the role of cancer immunotherapy in the dis-regulation of self-tolerance. This job will primarily involve in vivo research with mouse models of cancer.
