Responsibilities
- MEPF Technical Leadership & Delivery

- Construction Administration & Change Management
- Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and technical change proposals.
- Evaluate contractor performance and support approval of pay applications.
- Coordinate system shutdowns, tie-ins, and phasing plans to support construction in active terminals.
- Procurement & Closeout
- Lead procurement support and technical evaluation of consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Support closeout deliverables including:
- As-built documentation
- O&M manuals
- Training coordination
- Warranty tracking
Requirements
- Required Experience
- 10+ years managing MEP systems design and construction .
- Experience supporting commissioning and system turnover .
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- HVAC systems
- Electrical distribution
- Plumbing/utilities
- Fire protection and life safety
- Building automation and controls (BAS)
- Experience with delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and Design-Build .
- Experience with Tools and Software: Microsoft Office Suite
- Bluebeam
- Revit / BIM coordination tools
- Familiarity with BAS, electrical power monitoring systems, HVAC/control interfaces, fire alarm/life safety systems
- Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or related technical field (required).
- Master's degree
- Ability to manage complex building systems in active operational environments
- Certifications/licensure such as PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE, AICP (or other relevant credentials)
- Working Hours & Location: Full-time, exempt role with business hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. In addition, this is an onsite position, and Monday - Friday in Los Angeles, CA .
- Compensation Range: $141,440 - $147,680 annually; Eligible for Bonus

TDIP is a major capital program modernizing LAX passenger terminals to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, safety, and system reliability. This role reports to an assigned Senior Project Manager and is responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and operational interfaces for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) and specialty systems through design and construction in an active, operational airport environment.
