Your New Role The purpose of this role is to enable the development of quality repeatable processes in the service catalogue, knowledge management and service support functionality, especially with working with the squad to develop, design and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform and test them for minimum impact to existing services and improve them further. The Consultant will:Ensuring Quality and Reliability, Quality Engineers ensure reliability and stability by embedding, Rigorous testing throughout development lifecycle, Cross-Functional Collaboration. They partner with developers, analysts, product owners, and operations teams to validate requirements and integrations.Look to advancing automated testing practicesFocus on shift-left testing, automation-led assurance, and continuous improvement to enhance test coverage. Ensuring Production Readiness. Quality Engineers guarantee releases are thoroughly tested validated, and meet organisational quality standards before deployment.Reducing Defects and Risks. Early detection of design issues and automation-driven regression testing reduce defects, incidents, and rollbacks in production. Quality Engineers identify defect patterns, promote training, and influence architecture to enhance long-term engineering practices. Manage end to end testing streams of work associated with the automation and transformation of the service support functions Work closely with key stakeholders responsible for delivering outcomes associated with the key streams of work Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to testing if configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform. Obtain and analyse/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow. Continuous improvements to activities provided, that support more efficient delivery of workplace projects. What Will You Bring 8 years of demonstrated experience in ServiceNow to develop, design test technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform ServiceNow CSA Certification is a mandate Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in testing ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations including REST and SOAP protocols. Automated Test Framework Expertise: Proficiency in designing modular, reusable automated tests using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF). Shift-Left Testing in Agile: Quality Engineers embed shift-left testing early, refining backlog and advising on testability to ensure continuous validation. Automation-First Approach: Leveraging automation frameworks and AI to build reliable regression tests reduces manual effort and accelerates defect resolution. Quality Engineer defines test strategies and executes comprehensive testing aligned to business requirements across all development cycles. Identifies and manages defects through triage and works closely with developers for rapid diagnosis and resolution. Designs and maintains automated tests using an automated test framework to improve repeatability and reduce release times.
