Job Description Summary: Develops and delivers nutrition education and professional development programs for nutrition staff to support high quality, evidence based clinical nutrition care. Assists with carrying out an appropriate nutrition plan of care for patients. Serves as a consultant for any nutrition-related inquiries. Maintains accurate nutrition and education records, including training activities and employee progress. Serves as a preceptor to assigned dietetic students, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback. Participates in and stays up to date with current research and professional education to maintain expert knowledge and competencies of evidence-based practices. Shares and applies information to facilitate quality patient care and effective program operation. Education Requirement: As required by listed licensure and/or certification requirement. Licensure Requirement: Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the State of Ohio, or limited permit with license received within 3 months of hire, required. Certifications: Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP), Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC), or other specialty certification, preferred.
