Additional Information
The In Vivo Pharmacology / Oncology Discovery Research group seeks to hire a highly motivated tumor biologist (G13) to support discovery and development of innovative oncology therapeutics, both small molecule and biologics. The successful candidate will have proven expertise with the design and execution of studies to determine efficacy, PK/PD relationships, and MTD of oncology drugs in both immunocompetent and immunocompromised mouse models. The candidate should be experienced with drug formulation and administration via SC, PO, IP, IM and IV routes. Additional ability to develop, maintain, and preserve patient-derived xenograft models, and to utilize optical imaging approaches in vivo with appropriate instrumentation, are both a plus. Familiarity with data analysis, presentation design and communication, management, and statistical software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Study Director) is necessary. Our scientists interact with in vitro biology, translational/biomarkers, medicinal chemistry, and husbandry teams to advance oncology agents through the R&D pipeline, therefore excellent communication skills and the willingness to work with a multidisciplinary team of researchers is essential.
