Set up NC/CNC machines according to process sheets, tooling instructions, and work orders.
Load, delete, and verify CNC programs, ensuring alignment with specifications.
Operate CNC machines to perform complex machining operations, including turning, milling, borinig, and grinding.
Adjust or replace tooling as required to maintain compliance with part specifications.
Understand and modify existing CNC programs and independently perform program prove outs with minimal supervision.
INSPECTION & VERIFICATION
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product meets blueprint tolerances and finishing standards.
Visually and dimensionally check materials, components, and finished products for defects or non-conformances.
Notify supervision immediately of shortages, defects, non-standard conditions, or malfunctioning machinery.
MAINTENANCE & EQUIPMENT CARE
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on CNC machines and related tooling.
Clean and maintain work area and machinery following 5S and safety protocols.
Assist in proving out new programs and processes as required.
MATERIAL HANDLING & DOCUMENTATION
Move materials as required using hand or powered equipment.
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Observe and comply with all safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Working knowledge of shop mathematics, including decimals, fractions, and basic algebra
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience & Skills
2-3 years or equivalent experience operating NC/CNC Machines
Experience with machine setup, operation, and inspection of precision parts
NC/CNC machine operation and programming fundamentals
Dimensional metrology and blueprint interpretation

Working Conditions
Work performed in manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to temperature extremes, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as directed.
Must be able to work various shifts or overtime as needed to support production
