Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
Evidence-Based Patient Management: Utilizes the medical model to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care, integrating best practices and clinical guidelines to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Comprehensive Health Assessment: Conducts thorough patient evaluations by obtaining detailed medical histories, performing age-appropriate physical examinations, and ordering or interpreting diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision-making.
Clinical Reasoning & Diagnosis: Applies critical thinking to synthesize and analyze clinical data, formulating accurate differential diagnoses while integrating patient history, physical findings, and diagnostic results.
Personalized Treatment Planning: Develops and implements individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, patient education, and interdisciplinary referrals as needed.
Ongoing Patient Evaluation: Monitors patient progress through follow-up assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure therapeutic effectiveness and alignment with patient-centered goals.
Scope of Practice & Collaboration: Provides care in alignment with the Nursing Practice Act, scope of service, and hospital policies, consulting with physicians and specialists as needed for comprehensive patient management.
