About the role
The S&OP Manager leads the global cross-functional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand and supply plans, optimize resource allocation, and facilitate cross-functional decision-making to achieve business objectives and customer service targets. Build supply chain planning awareness and competence within the organization As our Sales & Operations Planning Manager your responsibilities include: S&OP Process Leadership : Own and facilitate the monthly S&OP cycle, including product review, demand review, supply review, and executive business review meetings. Being responsible for implementation of the S&OP Process in the BU Cross-functional Coordination : Secure collaboration between sales, marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain to achieve consensus planning Gap Analysis: Identify and quantify demand-supply gaps, present scenario options, and facilitate decision-making on capacity, inventory, and service level trade-offs Performance Management : Monitor S&OP KPIs including forecast accuracy, plan attainment, and inventory targets; drive continuous improvement initiatives Strategic Planning : Support annual business planning and quarterly business reviews with integrated demand-supply analysis Escalation Management : Manage planning conflicts and facilitate executive decision-making on resource allocation and strategic trade-offs Process Standardization : Support/Drive development and maintenance of S&OP policies, procedures, and governance within the organization (BU) Who you are and what you know: Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field Experience: at least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or business management with 3+ years in S&OP or similar cross-functional roles Technical Skills: Proficiency in S&OP software platforms, advanced Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools Leadership/Communication: Strong facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills with senior stakeholders. Strong presentation and executive communication skills with ability to influence without authority Business Acumen: Understanding of financial planning, operations management, and strategic business planning What's in it for you?
