Responsibilities
- The Assistant Social Worker / Counsellor will support the delivery of Families for Life @ Community services, with a focus on strengthening family relationships through preventive and upstream work with parents, grandparents, couples, and community partners.

- Maintain accurate programme records, reports, and evaluation data for monitoring and service improvement.
- Work flexible hours when required, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work, Counselling, or a related discipline; Registered Social Worker or Counsellor preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in family life education, parenting/marital work, counselling, groupwork, or programme development
- Confident in facilitating seminars, workshops, and group sessions for adult participants.
- Experienced in programme planning, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation; prior supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Trained or accredited in relevant programmes (e.g. Triple P, Signposts, Purposeful Play, Prepare/Enrich); Applicants without these certifications should be open to attending relevant training.
- Proficiency in English as programmes will be conducted in English
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, writing, and organisational skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passionate about supporting families - parents, grandparents, couples, and caregivers.
