Production Supervisor

About the role

Our Ridge Street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renowned Bega cheese blocks- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses. The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a skilled, high‑performing team of approximately 20 operators, with a strong focus on achieving operational targets across quality, safety, cost, and environmental performance. The successful candidate must be available to work 12‑hour day shifts , scheduled from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday , and 6:00 am to 2:00 pm on every fourth Sunday .

• Proven experience leading teams and achieving production goals in FMCG environments
• Strong understanding of process improvement and problem-solving techniques
• Commitment to safe work practices and hazard awareness
• Demonstrated experience in change management, including supporting teams through change.
