Enable and support development teams in using Kubernetes for their microservices, for example, by guiding onboarding, migrations and containerisation efforts
Act as a point of contact for internal engineers, answering questions, giving advice and actively helping teams adopt platform engineering best practices
Develop and maintain Kubernetes platform add-ons using GitOps processes and CNCF technologies, improving usability, security and time-to-market
Continuously simplify platform design and usage, helping reduce operational complexity and infrastructure costs across NN

Requirements
Experience with cloud-native and CNCF technologies such as ArgoCD, Crossplane or similar tools (must have)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a corporate or enterprise environment
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS (EKS) and/or Azure (AKS)
Programming experience in modern programming languages such as Go and/or TypeScript
Experience working in an agile, DevOps or platform engineering context

This is a freelance assignment for 40 hour per week until the end of the year.

As a Kubernetes (EKS) Platform Enablement Engineer, you help NN's engineers to build, deploy and run their applications smoothly on our Kubernetes platforms. You combine hands-on engineering with close collaboration, helping teams understand, adopt and use the platform effectively. By lowering technical barriers and simplifying complexity, your work helps create a scalable and future-proof IT foundation that benefits the entire organisation.
