About the role
TigerEye is the industry leading reinsurance pricing and portfolio management tool enabling insurers, reinsurers, and fund managers to leverage any cat-model output, price any type of reinsurance programme, and build, optimise, and net-down a portfolio of nat-cat exposed risks. We are looking for an experienced insurance professional to join the TigerEye Account Management team. The role will also involve close collaboration with the TigerEye software development team in Raleigh, North Carolina and the actuarial/analytics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are looking for a (re) insurance professional with solid understanding of catastrophe modelling analytics, property treaty reinsurance, strong communication skills, and ideally, some commercial technology vendor experience What will you be doing? Serves as point of contact for all TigerEye users Resolving support tickets Delivering training Onboarding new clients Collaborating with the sales team to help increase new and existing client revenue Collaborating with the development team to assist in the development of features as well as resolution of technical issues Creating and maintaining online support documentation Who are we looking for: Insurance experience preferred Demonstrated ability to construct SQL queries Demonstrated working knowledge of reinsurance market Ability to communicate effectively about reinsurance market and technical language Strong organizational skills and ability to respond quickly to all queries Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Attention to detail and ability to manage several projects at once Ability to adapt quickly and a desire to learn Excellent verbal and written skills Experience using Moody's (RMS) or Verisk (AIR) Experience working with Web Service APIs or other development languages such as Python, R, or others is preferred What do we offer in return?
