Position Summary Responsible for performing a variety of duties in relation to imaging patients and ensuring smooth operations of the Ultrasound department while providing appropriate levels of patient care and customer service. The Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) performs high-quality, non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols. This role is responsible for producing diagnostic images of the arterial and venous systems, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality requirements (10336, 10344, 20336, 20344). The Registered Sonographer (RDMS) performs high-quality, non-invasive - ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols. Principal Accountabilities Standards of Performance: Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration, Stewardship, Accountability, Quality Education Associate's degree in Radiology/Ultrasound or Certificate Program in Radiology/Ultrasound Licenses and Certification Licenses and Certification (Excluding Breast Center locations 10363 and 20363): RMDS or ARRT (S) registered or registry eligible Registry eligible must have proof of passing ARDMS SPI exam prior to start date and passing score on any one corresponding specialty exam within six months of hire. Must be vascular certified with RVT, RVS, ARRT (VS) within one year of hire (excludes 20360) BLS Licenses and Certification (Cardio-Vascular Department 10336, 10344, 20336 and 20344): Must be vascular certified with RVT, RVS, AART (VS) BLS Licenses and Certifications (Breast Center locations only 10363, 20363): RDMS registered or registry eligible Registry eligible must have proof of passing ARDMS SPI exam prior to start date and passing score on BR specialty exam within one year of hire or hold ultrasound AART (BS). ARRT (R) registered (within 90 days of hire) - ARRT registered in Mammography within 1 year of hire. IEMA - Radiography Accreditation (within 90 days of hire) BLS Experience and Skills Technical Experience: n/ a Technical Experience (10336, 10344, 20336, and 20344): 1-3 years Vascular Sonography experience preferred (RVT only) (10336, 10344, 20336, and 20344): We are seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our growing cardiovascular team.
