About the Position: This position is part of the Reemployed Annuitants Cadre. Employees occupying these positions will provide emergency support to disaster-stricken areas throughout the United States. This position is a temporary position not to exceed (NTE) 1-year, however, at the discretion of management, the position may be converted to a term position up to a maximum not to exceed (NTE) 4-years. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1. Responsible for the quality verification of all phases of construction and inspection activities. 2.Perform quality control audits for inspection of construction, contractor methods, workmanship and compliance with contract documents. 3. Oversee payment records for construction projects to include contractor payment records, submittals, claim files, modification requests, modification estimates, and general contract correspondence. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service.
