About the role
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory control including the scheduling and review of the cycle count and physical inventory programs. Work in and communicate with both office and plant environments equally well. Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock including identifying, investigating, and correcting inventory discrepancies. Identify and improve internal processes to drive reduction in inventory discrepancies. Recognize deviations from standard procedure. Assist with root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies. Develop and/or support the development of departmental SOPs. Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System. Assist is material receiving as needed Other duties as assigned The Candidate: High school diploma or equivalent required 1 - 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred Prior computerized inventory management system/MRP experience preferred Prior experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) preferred Prior cGMP experience preferred Prior Microsoft Excel and Word experience preferred Physical requirements: Individual must be able to see, hear, read, and write clear English. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS responsibilities.
