Massage Therapist l Physical, Medicine & Rehabilitation ( Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Conduct Health Histories - Review and update patient health histories before each session; identify contraindications and precautions.
• Perform Clinical Massage Techniques - Deliver evidence‑informed interventions including trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy/prenatal massage, Swedish, and deep tissue techniques based on patient needs and your training.
• Tailor Treatment Plans - Adjust pressure, modality, and approach to support pain reduction, mobility, circulation, and overall comfort.
• Monitor & Respond - Observe patient responses, gather feedback, and modify techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Collaborate Clinically - Work within a multidisciplinary rehab environment, including chiropractors, aligning your interventions with patient care plans and clinical goals.
• Document Patient Progress - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Protect Patient Privacy - Uphold HIPAA standards and safeguard all protected health information.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Massage Therapy Program
• Wisconsin Massage Therapist & Bodywork Therapist License (MTBT‑WI)
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA or Red Cross, hands‑on)
• 2+ years of licensed massage therapy experience
