Serves as the primary contact for establishing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships and resolving disputes to avoid legal action and media attention.
Manages encroachments near company assets to protect them from damage and ensure all rights are preserved.
Initiates the interpretation of agreements and easements, enforces restrictions or rights, grants encroachment variances, and interfaces with field personnel, Law, and Management on executed agreements.
Supports project work by negotiating and securing pipeline rights-of-way, surface leases, easements, permits, and related agreements to support scope of work.
Serves as a support contact for Community Relations, compensation, and claims handling within the Incident Command Structure for Emergency Response efforts.
Negotiates and issues damage payments with stakeholders.
Provides consultative advice in developing Public Awareness information, policies, plans, and programs, and participates in Public Awareness presentations.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Five (5) years of related pipeline or ROW experience (contract land agent, in-house ROW or pipeline operations, title research or documentation) required.
Valid driver's license required.
