Job Description EBAD's continued growth requires an accomplished engineer for the position of Electronics Test Engineer - Product Development and Qualification, reporting to the Test Engineering Lead. The position is located in Simsbury, CT. The Test Engineer provides support for environmental testing of EBAD electronics products across the product lifecycle, while contributing to test lab capability growth and technical problem solving. The Test Engineer is responsible for owning and executing environmental test series-including climatic, shock, vibration, and electronics performance testing-to support product qualification and validation. Responsibilities include: Evaluation of environmental requirements and test needs Development of detailed test plans and procedures Scheduling and coordination of testing with internal and external laboratories Support of electronics performance testing Interpretation and analysis of test data and results Preparation of clear and concise test reports and documentation Troubleshooting of test setups Selection of appropriate test equipment and instrumentation Development, validation, and training of test methods Support of continuous improvement initiatives within the test organization Documentation and standardization of test processes Support of test program scope definition and cost estimation
