Designer III, Interior Architecture & Design

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the field of Architecture or Interior Design
• NCIDQ certification preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Standard knowledge of financial terms and principles
• Ability to understand and carry out general instructions. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to support the Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer in design visioning and maintain a clear design intent through the life of the project
• If required, ability to provide clear direction to Designer I or II to create comprehensive design packages
• Ability to support design presentation to Client and collect/implement feedback
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Excellent presentation skills. Ability to effectively present information
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
• Ability to work independently to solve problems involving multiple options

You will exercise strong independent judgment in evaluating and applying design methods, contribute to design visioning and concept development, and lead client presentations while maintaining design intent. You will support project execution through Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (CD), and Contract Administration (CA), including submittals and furniture selection, while mentoring junior team members and coordinating project efforts under the general direction of a licensed interior designer. This is a full-time, long-term position.
