The Assistant Men's Basketball Coach will assist the Head Men's Basketball Coach with the overall oversight of the day-to-day operations and functions of the SF men's basketball team.
Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
Assist the head coach with sport-specific instruction, team conditioning, game strategy, facility upkeep, equipment organization, recruiting of prospects, and travel to away games during the sport playing season.
Ability to demonstrate the skills necessary to teach basketball including passing, dribbling, shooting, offensive strategy, and defensive strategy.
Complies with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws/regulations governing public employees, including but not limited to those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality.
Strictly honors the privacy, security, and confidentiality of records and other sensitive information according to appropriate state, federal, and college regulations, policies, and procedures.
Provides service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
