Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Performs Predictive Maintenance (PdM) procedures on a variety of equipment i.e. HVAC systems, pumps, blowers, motors, agitators, compressors, reactors, steam and water systems etc.
Performs pipeline inspections using boroscope and sewer camera equipment. Performs ultrasonic thickness gauging and airborne ultrasonic sound detection. Will perform non-intrusive pipeline flow measurements.
Analyzes PdM measurements and provides an engineering analysis to the client as to the condition of the equipment. Provides reports to Plant Engineering on a predetermined basis as outlined by Department Manager.
Participates in work group team meetings and actively looks for methods and work processes that improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
When required, processes paperwork such as work orders, house requisitions, reports and various other forms.
Effectively communicates the status of jobs to customers and supervisors. Ensures that adequate information is shared with other work groups when transferring work orders.
Must have a high school education or equivalent, Level 1 Ultrasound Certification, Level II Vibration
Knowledge of vibration analysis software ( Emerson AMS Machinery Manager or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years previous experience and achieved a Senior Level in one of the following trades:
Mechanic, pipefitter, electrician and HVAC. A minimum of 2 years of increasing job knowledge in the PdM Group.
Advanced typing skills, an understanding of computer operations, data interpretation, analysis and report writing are required.
The PdM Technician is required to work in various locations and environments while performing predictive and demand maintenance work and other job related activities.
Valid state issued Driver's license.
