Description of Work The primary purpose of the Classroom Based Health Care Technician II (CB HCT I) position is to ensure safety and quality active treatment for the people residing at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center through direct support and program/service development and implementation. The CB HCT II is part of the team providing continuous active treatment and training that is based on their needs/wishes/preferences/strengths and potential for learning. The CB HCT II is involved in supporting the individual in every aspect of his/her life as a "master trainer" skilled in person-centered philosophies, skill assessments, program design, program implementation and incidental teaching strategies. This training in skill acquisition may be generic or very specialized in nature, but in each case is directed toward enhancing independence and retaining skills that maximize resident self-determination and ability to successfully live as independently as possible. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $32,444.00 - $48,665.00 We Will Be Recruiting For Multiple Positions With This Post.
