The Senior Account Executive & Team Leader is responsible for supporting & driving department culture through collaboration with Market Service Leader and other Team Leaders. In addition to account management responsibilities & oversight of a team, Team Leader is focused on development, training & education of the department as a whole. How You Will Contribute: Drive department & office culture & development through various initiatives and participation across all teams Participate in leadership of the department in conjunction with the Market Service Leader Fully supporting Senior Leadership directives of the Market and Enterprise Leadership Proactively assist with the management, evolution and improvement of the benefits team at large Actively share knowledge and mentor the future leaders of the benefits team Advocate for the company recruiting and retaining efforts Support and participate in the local culture initiatives of the office Understand and support teammates' training, professional development and values around work / life; synergy, balance, integration, fit, harmony, etc. based on each individual need Ability to self-generate new business opportunities Ability to close new business independently Actively pursue opportunities for client revenue enhancement (as well as regularly track revenue) Lead regular team meetings, tasks assignments, training & onboarding of direct reports Licenses & Certifications: Insurance Producer license in good standing (authorities in states needed to service the assigned book of business) Skills & Experience to be Successful: Bachelor's degree Proficient with MS Office Suite Exceptional telephone demeanor Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality 10+ years experience in all aspects of Employee Benefits including agency management experience Strong technical knowledge of the industry of expertise currently being targeted. This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position. Pay Range $140,000 - $195,000 Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
