Mō te tūranga | About the role We're looking for a Digital Engineering Visualisation Specialist to help bring complex infrastructure work to life through clear, accurate and engaging visual content. In this role, you'll create high-quality 3D models, animations and sequencing outputs that support tenders, project delivery and stakeholder engagement across the business. You'll be part of our wider Digital Engineering team, working alongside project teams, Engineering Solutions and tender teams to turn design data and construction methodology into visualisations people can easily understand. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities Create realistic, artistic and interactive visualisations to support tenders and stakeholder engagement. Develop 3D models, animations and construction sequencing outputs aligned to project needs. Translate design drawings, models and engineering data into clear, fit-for-purpose visual content. Apply modelling, UV mapping, texturing, lighting and materials expertise to produce high-quality outputs. Work with project teams and tender teams to understand requirements and support presentations, demonstrations and stakeholder communication. Use digital engineering tools including CAD and Navisworks, and work with spatial or reality capture data where needed. Maintain accurate, secure and well-managed files and support consistent visualisation standards across the business. Look for smarter ways of working, stay current with new technology and support the adoption of emerging tools, including real-time engines and AI-assisted workflows. Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We're looking for someone with A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Animation, Civil Engineering, Digital/BIM or similar, or equivalent practical experience. Around 2-4 years' relevant experience in visualisation, digital engineering or a similar field. Experience producing 2D/3D visual content, ideally in infrastructure or construction. Proficiency in 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, animation and visual storytelling. Experience with AEC and visualisation tools such as Navisworks, CAD tools, Twinmotion, Blender, 3ds Max or similar, plus Adobe Creative Suite. An understanding of CAD drawings and digital engineering workflows, with GIS, LiDAR, point cloud or photogrammetry experience a bonus. Strong communication, collaboration and time management skills, with the ability to deliver to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. A proactive, accountable approach, strong attention to detail, and a real focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
