Scope of Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting production equipment, facility systems, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
This position reports to Manager, Engineering & Maintenance . This role is onsite and is based in Woodland, CA .
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on manufacturing and facility equipment.
Perform preventive and planned maintenance activities in accordance with OEM recommendations and company standards.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and conduct root cause analysis to minimize repeat downtime.
Maintain facility systems including air compressors, electrical distribution, and related infrastructure.
Utilize CMMS software to document maintenance activities, complete work orders, and track repairs accurately.
Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Autonomous Maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
Support installation, startup, shutdown, and modification of manufacturing equipment in accordance with safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
Communicate equipment status, repair progress, and operational concerns with supervisors, operators, and leadership.
Maintain safe work practices and strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and PPE requirements.
Support facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and contractor coordination as needed.
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Company management.
Demonstrate accountability, integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement through daily maintenance operations and cross-functional collaboration.
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel may be required between local facilities, vendors, or training locations as needed. Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Manager, Engineering & Maintenance or Company management.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications preferred.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on industrial equipment.
Experience utilizing a CMMS platform such as Limble, UpKeep, Fiix, MP2, or similar systems.
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, electrical controls, and facility systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, OSHA requirements, and safety practices and procedures.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
