Required 7+ years of product management, preferably in platform-based environments supporting global products
Strong understanding of technology and platform architecture.
Have delivered API products
Technical aptitude to pick up domain knowledge in a fast-paced engineering team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong diplomacy and communication skills
Experience gathering customer feedback, validating business problems, and gathering market data
Demonstrated track record of driving product lifecycle through each step: initial concept, requirements gathering, development/deployment planning, implementation, launch, testing, analysis, iteration, and end-of-life planning.
Organized with some project management experience
Ability to get stuff done
Retail industry experience and a passion for dining is a plus!
Experience with agile processes and lean methodology.
Previous experience in cloud technologies like GCP and Azure

Position Summary
The Platform & Innovation Product Manager will own the product definition and delivery of our Commerce Platform that is core to the NCR Voyix's entire strategy of the entire portoflio to deliver Cloud based, API first microservices that drive billions of transactions each month. NCR Voyix Commerce Platform also services as a enabler for a large ecosystem for customers and partners to integrate their own solutions providing a richer experience.
The ideal candidate is a technical, experienced, and energetic product manager focused on building and driving platform based capabilities across our entire portoflio, to customers and to the ecosystem. You have strong product and technical experience providing platform based solutions that enable broad product use cases, customer segments, multiple channels and multiple end user personas.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Develop and implement platform strategies consistent with platform based design
Own and build platform services that will enable use cases for Retail and possibly restaurant industries.
Discover, define and build requirements with Retail Product Managers and 3rd party vendors to orchestrate the right user and business interactions with our API products and services
Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure platform success
Write product briefs, epics, features, and specifications as needed and validate solution designs
Define platform KPIs and deliver ways to monitor performance.
Manage product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing adoption, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Be a leader with the agile engineering team and associated sprint team
Manage and maintain the API product information in NCR Developer portal with the engineering team
Communicating platform strategy concisely and simply, in both written & verbal forms, internally to engineering, broader product management, sales, marketing, and executives and externally to customers
