Conduct pre-task risk assessments and adhere to safe work practices.
Identify, report and follow up on hazards in assigned areas.
Participate in sectional safety inspections and HSE initiatives.
Condition Monitoring Execution:
Execute scheduled conditions monitoring PM tasks as per weekly and monthly plans.
Perform vibration data collection using approved instruments (e.g., ADASH or equivalent).
Conducting laser shaft alignment and balancing activities under supervision where is required.
Perform Non-Destructive Testing (MPI, DPI, UT thickness testing) as assigned.
Support thermographic inspections where applicable.
Carry out shutdown supplementary inspections on critical equipment.
Data Management & Reporting:
Upload and validate collected CM data into approved reporting systems.
Prepare basic condition reports highlighting observed defects and abnormalities.
Escalate critical findings immediately to the Technical Specialist or Reliability team.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of field data and inspection records.
Maintenance Coordination Support
Follow up on issued CM recommendations and confirm work order creation.
Provide field feedback to planners and maintenance supervisors when required.
Support verification of corrective actions during post-maintenance inspections.
Continuous Improvement & Development
Participate in technical training programs related to condition monitoring technologies.
Maintain and improve competency in vibration analysis (Level I minimum target).
Contribute to knowledge sharing within the CM team.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Related Engineering field
Proficiency in data analysis using appropriate Microsoft packages
A member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
All academic qualifications and results must be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority ( ZAQA ).
Minimum 3 years' work experience in a similar position with hands-on maintenance and condition monitoring experience.
Exposed to Maintenance Management Systems such as PRONTO, SAP, Maximo MI7.
Understanding of different Condition Monitoring technologies.
Knowledge of maintenance process and work management systems

Knowledge of and application of Condition Monitoring tools or techniques
Certification up to Level I in one or more of the following CM technologies (Vibration Analysis, Alignment, Thermography, NDT, Machinery Lubrication etc.) is added advantage.

Conversant with maintenance management systems and standards' practices
