Capital Health is seeking a Core Faculty position for the Family Medicine Residency. The Core Faculty Physician serves as an essential member of the Family Medicine Residency Program, providing educational leadership, clinical supervision, and administrative support in accordance with ACGME accreditation standards.
Opportunity Details :
Teach, supervise, and evaluate family medicine residents based on the six ACGME core competencies and milestones
Collaborate with the Program Director on curriculum development, implementation, and ongoing updates
Precept residents in the outpatient continuity setting
Serve as a resident advisor, monitoring milestone progress and supporting remediation as needed
Deliver an average of one didactic session monthly and participate in academic and professional development conferences
Complete resident evaluations in a timely manner and provide constructive verbal feedback
Participate in the Clinical Competency Committee, Program Evaluation Committee, and core faculty meetings
Supervise resident scholarly activity and engage in independent scholarly work, including presentations and publications
Assist in maintaining compliance with ACGME, DNV, and Capital Health accreditation and policy standards
