THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION - INDEFINITE, NOT-TO-EXCEED (NTE) 30SEP27. This National Guard position is for a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), Position Description Number NGD2009000 and is part of the Guam G1 Directorate of Manpower and Personnel, National Guard. MILITARY GRADES: Enlisted: E1 - E6 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: Enlisted: 42A SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-07) that demonstrates knowledge of military human resources programs, personnel services, and military personnel regulations and procedures. Specialized experience includes reviewing and processing military personnel actions; maintaining personnel records and automated personnel systems; verifying eligibility and identity documentation; providing customer service and guidance to military members, dependents, retirees, or supervisors; interpreting and applying military personnel policies and regulations; and preparing or reviewing personnel documents for accuracy and completeness. Experience using personnel systems such as DEERS, RAPIDS, iPERMS, IPPS-A, SIDPERS, or similar automated HR systems is highly desired.
