The Aesthetician provides skin care related services for patients under physician supervision. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as an Esthetician. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Current Virginia licensure as an Esthetician. Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in a medical office setting performing skin care. Experience PREFERRED: N/A Education/training REQUIRED: Minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in a medical office setting performing skin care Education/training PREFERRED: N/A Independent action(s) required: Provide skin care services to patients. Document patient history and recommendation for skin care treatment. Recognize potential and actual skin problems and make appropriate physician referral. Recommend skin care products/equipment.
