Responsibilities

• Commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting Vilter industrial refrigeration compressors and natural gas compressors equipment mainly in the India with opportunities to work in IMEA region.
• Coordinate and execute preventative maintenance and warranty work, including but not limited to oil filter changes, oil changes, compressor inspections and repairs, instrument replacement and controls repairs.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for customers via phone and email.
• Understand and optimize system operational parameters for gas and refrigeration applications.
• Conduct/participate in technical training for Copeland and Vilter equipment
• Work with and assist the Sales and Business Development teams where possible
• Participate in joint sales calls with other Copeland team members when needed.
• Become a trusted advisor for customer technical inquiries.
• Complete reports and administrative paperwork for service trips.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to report findings in the field and improve products.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical / ITI or similar;
• Experience: At least 3-7 years of similar experience in India
• Relevant work area like oil & gas industry, Biogas Industry, Refrigeration is preferred
• Hands on Compressor service and assembly expertise
• Experience with Single or twin-screw compressors
• Language
• English, Hindi, with good verbal and written communication skills.
