Physical Therapist Assistant (Tuscola) Job Description Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated only by a supervising physical therapist (PT). The PTA uses their knowledge and skills to help the physical therapist provide selected interventions as described in the patient's plan of care. The PTA uses their clinical problem solving skills to ensure patient/client safety and comfort, as well as completion of interventions selected to achieve the patient's desired outcomes and goals. PTA's demonstrate effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to motivate patients and provide compassionate care. Department: Physical Therapy Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours a week required Location: Tuscola Required: AS degree, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and BLS within 90 days of hire. Pay: Based on experience, starting at $23.87 an hour
