Position Overview This role will provide advanced analytical support and project management responsibilities for various energy and financial matters including generation marketing, power supply planning and financial planning projects. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to: Assist in the cost accounting processes for the generation portfolio and for natural gas commodity purchases and pipeline transportation agreements. Participates in Southwest Power Pool working groups as appropriate. Maintains working knowledge of the Southwest Power Pool Tariff. Participates in the development and negotiation of power purchase agreements. Conducts bilateral settlements for customer-owned generation. Facilitates the process of monthly P&L reports for the GRDA resource portfolio. Collaborate to compile the market-related cost accounting reports for Finance, Management, and the Board. Interfaces with the Southwest Power Pool Market Monitoring Portal to ensure compliance related to the GRDA resource portfolio. Subject matter expert on Southwest Power Pool's bid-to-bill energy settlement process. Provides guidance, mentorship, and firsthand training to team members, Education, Training, Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business management or related field. One to three years of related experience with an electric utility. Experience in energy market accounting, financial analytics and report building. Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities: Assist in the cost accounting processes for the generation portfolio and for natural gas commodity purchases and pipeline transportation agreements. Participates in Southwest Power Pool working groups as appropriate. Maintains working knowledge of the Southwest Power Pool Tariff. Provides guidance, mentorship, and firsthand training to team members, Certificates, Registrations, Licenses: Valid Oklahoma driver's license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for those with an out of state driver's license that are an Oklahoma resident. Other information Work may be performed at one of various GRDA office locations in Northeast Oklahoma. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
