As Life Admin System is a critical internal system for supporting operations which covered the CR, NB & UW, PA & Claims modules, high capability to work individually and collaborate with other application teams is required. In addition, the candidate will assist the supervisor to manage each project's scope and timeline in order to ensure the team's deliverables are up to quality standards. Job responsibilities: Assist the supervisor to manage each project's scope and timeline and help to coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-up Coach team members in Agile frameworks and facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration Be the point of contact for communications on key stakeholders in projects and work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests Align with DevOps and Agile delivery approach, tooling and practices adoption Follow the delivery control guideline required and ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met Contributing to the ongoing support of the critical internal system Job requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering 8+ years of IT development experience in financial services industry Experience in a scrum master/project manager role Familiarity with software development such as J2EE, NodeJS on Typesprint, sprint, SprintBoot and RESTful API etc Familiarity with backend development on Informix 4GL and database related technologies especially on Informix DB Solid knowledge and experience on backend core system of insurance industry Excellent knowledge of scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) Good knowledge of Agile frameworks, principles and processes methods with tools and process such as Jira, Confluence etc CI/CD tooling including Git, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, Puppets, etc Excellent communication and servant leadership skills with problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability Scrum master certification is a plus Strong sense of responsibility Strong on analysis and problem-solving skills Good communication skills with both team members and key stakeholders Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken) Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
