Support, lead, and hold employees and contractors accountable to organizational standards. Supervise, develop, and coordinate project teams, including direct reports and assistant project managers, with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects.

Effectively communicate project and outage details, risks, and status updates to all stakeholders including team members, management, customers, and external partners. Lead planning meetings, project updates, and stakeholder presentations, and provide clear and concise written reports.

Manage project budgets and costs with demonstrated proficiency, including performing economic analysis and aligning project decisions with organizational financial goals.
Develop and manage procurement plans and oversee contract lifecycle activities, including development of requests for proposals, evaluation of bids, vendor selection, participation in negotiations, and oversight of vendor performance.
Provide strategic thinking, planning, and risk assessment for project activities. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while applying sound decision-making practices to prioritize activities, resolve issues, and ensure successful project execution.
Provide guidance, instruction, and leadership to improve processes, systems, schedules, and costs.
Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhanced performance and ensuring alignment with organizational standards, tools, and governance processes.
Influence and support project design, engineering, procurement, and construction activities to optimize outcomes.
Ensure adherence to current procedures, standards, and best practices across all phases of project execution.
Represent AEP, as required, with customers, vendors, and regulators. Manage project closeout processes, including evaluation of project performance and realization of project objectives and benefits. Support and uphold organizational values, policies, and behaviors.
Perform field-related duties as required, including work in varying environments such as offices, construction sites, and industrial facilities.
Travel as required to support project assignments.
Manage programs as assigned.
