Description of Work The primary purpose of this position is to provide budgetary guidance and consultation to assigned divisions and senior management. Position interprets legislation and budgetary policy, formulates continuation and expansion budgets, reviews and approves budget revision requests, provides analysis for management and division staff, Fiscal Research and Office of State Budget and Management. Responds to above entities for request for information. Other Key Responsibilities: Ensure all assigned budgets are properly certified and revised. Interpret, analyze and report on-going budget operations and make recommendations to the Budget Manager and Chief Financial Officer. Assist with the preparation of the continuation budgets and the review of the expansion budgets. Contract review and decision. Review and analyze the utilization of federal revenues.
