Web Analytics & Data Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a technically strong and analytically minded Web Analytics & Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our Business Operations - Data & Analytics team. This is a greenfield opportunity - you will be part of the the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our analytics tracking infrastructure from the ground up of our new brand TrendLife. In the near term, the focus will be on establishing a robust and scalable GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementation, including data layer architecture and server-side tagging. Over time, the role will expand into building and maintaining dashboards and reporting infrastructure, transforming raw analytics data into clear, actionable business insights for multiple stakeholder groups, including online sales, web content, etc. You will initially work alongside an external agency engaged to support the foundational set-up, with the expectation that you will progressively take over full ownership of the infrastructure as it matures. The right candidate is someone who can collaborate effectively with an agency in the short term while positioning themselves to own and evolve the platform independently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on moving fast, is comfortable in ambiguity, and wants to build something meaningful - not just maintain it.
