Under the direction of the Supervising Architect / Designer, completes assigned work independently and receives/applies general guidance and direction on new projects, tasks and priorities
Analyzes issues and identifies solutions using existing techniques, and proposes approaches for novel issues
Coordinates the work with other disciplines and other departments participating in an assigned project
Exercises independent judgement in determining how work is performed; review and approve design direction as required
Proactively identifies and advocates for improvements to existing processes and procedures
Exchanges information on sensitive matters and works to build consensus across teams and departments
Understands stakeholders by anticipating their needs and ensures work results will have positive impact
Adapts to new processes or changing assignments, and considers alternative approaches to complete work
Supports development of concepts and text descriptions for proposals/business development
Provides guidance and training to junior team members, and proactively reports to project managers, principals, and lead designers.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 4 years of experience in Architecture or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Active Massachusetts Registered Architect (RA) license or one held in another New England state (NH, VT, ME, CT, RI)
Requirements
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to the nature of our projects
5+ years of Architecture experience
Experience in aviation, transportation, infrastructure, higher education, lab/science and/or Federal architectural projects
Demonstrated ability to lead and organize architectural drawing sets across SD, DD, CD, and CA phases
Experience in coordination and package completion on complex architectural projects.
NCARB Certification and LEED Accreditation
Proficiency in Revit, Enscape and other BIM tools, Procore/Newforma/PMWeb and similar, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and graphic communications
Ability to build strong working relationships with all
Strong communication and presentation skills; adaptable to various audiences
Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
Graphic skills and proficiency with software for wayfinding and signage
