Shift Details: PRN Swing The Work: - Responsible for the processing, sterilization, and documentation related to sterility of patient care supplies instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital in accordance with the AORN Standards of Practice - Prepares and assembles instrument sets and surgery trays using count sheets - Verifies proper function and integrity of instruments - Labels instruments correctly and returns them to their proper location - Efficient in the quality execution of instrumentation that is directly related to patient safety and department efficiencies - Familiar with AAMI Joint Commission and APIC standards related to infection control
