About the role
The Senior Analyst, LBA is responsible bench work and documentation based on their assignment to the laboratory. Ensures that analyses are performed in accordance with appropriate SOPs. What You'll Do Here Technical assay expert in multiple assay types from sample preparation to data generation. Responsible for experiments at the bench based on training and competencies can be assigned conduct, method development, validation and/or sample analysis. Can be assigned QC tasks. Execute appropriately method standard operating procedure (SOP), ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation. Follow general SOP and good laboratory practice (GLP) and good clinical practices (GCP) as applicable. Completing supplementary information forms as needed to complete documentation. Stay up to date on new SOPs, procedures, and techniques via training sessions, team meetings and internal communication avenues. Communicate potential problems that could impact quality of the work performed in the laboratory and data reliability and discusses appropriately with line manager. Performs assigned tasks in a timely manner. Can be assigned to provide coaching and mentoring to Analysts I and II. Respecting Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures. Observes all company guidelines and policies. What You'll Need to Succeed College degree and/or University degree. Usually two years of experience as an Analyst II or equivalent is an asset. Good organizational skills. Attentive to details with respect to sample preparation procedures and raw data handling. Manual dexterity. Good communication (both written and verbal in French & English).
