POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Head Coach Lacrosse, the Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach for McGill Redbirds Lacrosse will assist with day-to-day coaching and administrative duties. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment for games and practices Analyze data and identify trends of the team, athlete activities/competencies during games and post games. Prepare reports for head coach to review Ensure on-going support of coaching staff in the implementation of practice and game strategies Assist with some light administrative tasks when required OTHER QUALIFYING SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES Knowledge or previous practical experience of the Lacrosse sport required Prior coaching experience at an elite /competitive, such as the Lacrosse sport preferred CPR and First Aid are assets Level II NCCP certification is an asset Organizational skills, punctuality, and working in a team environment preferred Selected candidates must successfully pass their criminal background check to be considered for this position.
