Project Manager - Banking ERP - 2-Year Engagement

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of ERP implementation projects within the banking or financial services environment
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure smooth project execution
• Oversee requirements gathering, system configuration, customization, testing, and deployment
• Manage ERP integrations with core banking systems and other enterprise applications
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, risks, and issues , and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to banking regulatory, security, and compliance requirements
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation activities
• Provide regular project status updates and governance reporting to senior leadership
• Support post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives

Location: Amman, Jordan. Years of Experience: 14+ years. Project Duration: 2 years. Working Arrangement: on-site. Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken). The Project Manager - Banking ERP will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives within a banking or financial services environment. The role involves managing large-scale ERP implementations and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure systems are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Key Requirements 14+ years of experience Proven experience managing large-scale ERP implementation or transformation projects within banking or financial services Strong understanding of ERP systems used in financial institutions Experience overseeing full ERP lifecycle delivery including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder projects across business and technology teams Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management Experience managing system integration with other enterprise platforms Other Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills Ability to manage cross-functional and distributed teams Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
