Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned category/categories, ensuring optimal acquisition, performance, and lifecycle management while driving cost efficiency, operational reliability, and technological innovation
- Conduct supplier risk assessments, establish dual sourcing strategies, and develop contingency plans for all critical assigned category/categories
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional suppliers to ensure world-class quality, cost efficiency, delivery reliability, and innovation
- Lead supplier scouting, qualification, and negotiation processes, with an in-depth understanding of capabilities across North America, EMEA, and the APAC region
- Evaluate internal capabilities and perform make-versus-buy assessments to identify the most cost-efficient and strategically balanced sourcing approach for assigned category/categories requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and new product development teams to align assigned category/categories strategies with product roadmaps and plant requirements
- Drive standardization, cost optimization, and design-to-cost initiatives across assigned category/categories
- Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and geopolitical impacts on assigned category/categories supply chains to develop resilient strategies for supply continuity
- Support capital expenditure (Capex) planning and execution, ensuring alignment with operational and financial targets
- Lead and manage their global team as well as cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, specifically for assigned category/categories
- Expertise in supplier scouting, qualification and negotiations, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
- Strong ability to motivate, coach, and mentor team members.
- Proven experience of planning, leading, and managing global projects
- Proven ability to drive high levels of engagement and empower cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills, fostering collaboration with global and regional suppliers as well as internal leadership
- Familiarity with Global Tooling Standards & Systems, Mold Flow Analysis Interpretation and tool life optimization
- Extensive knowledge of global supplier networks, with the ability to leverage key industry relationships for sourcing excellence
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, utilizing a data-driven approach to optimize strategies and mitigate risks
