Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - Casual - Forest Trail

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, review and evaluate resident care plans
• Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work
• Assist in orienting and training new team members

• Current registration with provincial College of Nurses
• Compassion, professionalism, and respect
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Must possess strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination, time management and customer focus skills
• Must maintain competencies as per the governing College standards
• Skills in use of computer and Microsoft Office applications
• Current (within 3 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS)

Job Description Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) **We are hiring staff for our new home Forest Trail in Peterborough, On. This position is for our Forest Trail Home, located in 514 Deline St. Peterborough, ON K9K 1T3 . *** This position starts as casual in our Peterborough LTC home and will transition to full time / part time at our new Forest Trail LTC home in Summer of 2026***
