You play an important role in keeping both our housekeeping and uniform operations running smoothly each day. You bring strong sewing and garment mending skills, and you use them to help repair, alter, organize, and distribute uniforms with care and attention to detail during part of your shift.
You will also support the housekeeping team in a variety of meaningful ways. You help deliver items where they're needed, inspect guest rooms to ensure they meet our standards, and assist with cleaning stayover and checkout rooms to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for every guest.
You stay organized, adaptable, and ready to jump in where help is needed. You take pride in your work, you notice the details that matter, and you contribute to a team that works together to create a clean, well-prepared, and professional environment.
Supports both housekeeping and uniform operations on a daily basis
Requires strong sewing and garment mending experience for uniform repair, alterations, organization, and distribution
Work assignments vary daily based on business needs, with responsibilities shifting between uniform support and housekeeping operations
Assists with uniform-related tasks including repair, alterations, organization, and distribution
Supports housekeeping operations as needed
Delivers items throughout the property as required
Inspects guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
Cleans stayover and checkout rooms in alignment with hotel standards
Oversees guest dry cleaning services in coordination with a partner laundry company
Maintains organization and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
Supports overall team operations and guest service standards
Assisting with special projects, such as inspecting rooms for missing items
Inspecting rooms assigned to new hires
Preparing and organizing carts for new hires
Inspecting showrooms and VIP rooms
Responsible for organizing laundry room area and maintaining cleanliness
Contributes to a clean, well-maintained, and professional environment
Following all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations.
Making rollaway beds as needed
Reporting maintenance items
Returning all lost and found articles to Risk Management
Following all hotel and departmental policies and procedures and service standards
Any other tasks that may be assigned
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
Constant bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
Occasional lifting and carrying over 50 lbs
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
Sewing and clothing repair experience is required for this role.
