Process, reconcile, and validate revenue transactions in compliance with US GAAP.
Prepare month-end revenue journal entries, including deferrals, accruals, and related reconciliations.
Monitor sales orders, shipments, invoicing, and returns to ensure completeness and proper cutoff.
Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to evaluate revenue impacts of promotions, programs, and customer agreements.
Financial Reporting & Controls
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for deferred revenue and related accounts.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations.
Requirements
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to revenue accounting and close processes.
Experience with ERP systems.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical skills.
Very good written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Position Summary
The Revenue Accountant is responsible for processing, analyzing, and accurately reporting revenue transactions in accordance with US GAAP for a U.S.-based public company , working within a European accounting team. This role supports month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensures accurate revenue recognition and cutoff, and partners with Sales, Commercial, and FP&A teams to provide reliable financial reporting.
This role reports to a supervisor in the North America Controllership Team (United States).
