Advise corporate clients directly regarding procurement matters and help them to mitigate legal issues
Provide legal support and expertise to our client teams by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial agreements
Standardize terms and contractual language, policies and protocols
Manage discussions with key stakeholders in purchase functions
Requirements
Based in Ontario, with active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
5+ years public procurement experience
Procurement support experience including but not limited to direct and indirect procurement, IT procurement, supplier relationship management, supplier onboarding, and contractual dispute resolution
Experience negotiating directly with opposing counsel regarding contract terms and conditions
