Job Responsibilities Job Description The Recruiter II is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies and overseeing onboarding efforts, in support of hiring qualified talent for the organization. In this role, the Recruiter will achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating applicants, advising hiring managers, and maintaining accurate statuses within our applicant tracking system (ATS). They will oversee the licensing process for new hires, re-hires, and renewals to ensure proper execution and compliance as needed. License Level: This is a gaming level position and requires a gaming license. This position does not have any gaming related activities and has no access to gaming equipment or secure gaming areas. Nothing in this description shall be interpreted to permit this position to make discretionary decisions or long-range policy determinations that impact gaming facility operations. Essential Duties/Core Competencies The Recruiter must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, an understanding of the company's organizational structure, knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. They will work closely with the Compensation and Benefits Supervisor to ensure the delivery of competitive compensation packages and make recommendations regarding job descriptions. Collaborate with hiring managers, leadership and HR Generalists to understand hiring needs; clearly map out hiring strategies and manage expectations throughout the process. Create and execute a recruiting process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. Advise hiring teams and interview panels on process, interview assessment capabilities and building talent pipelines. Strategically source and build talent pipelines for various positions across the organization. Leverage internal tools, social media, job fairs and your network to source a creative and diverse talent pool. Screen resumes, conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations based on job requirements. Schedule interviews as needed across interview teams. Work with a strong sense of urgency to fill the highest priority needs for the organization. Update and maintain recruitment information within our applicant tracking system (ATS). Work/Educational Experience Must be 18 years old or older and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field OR Three (3) years related human resources work Two (2) years' Recruitment and/or educational experience Experience with full lifecycle recruitment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships Knowledge of labor and hiring laws Previous experience with applicant tracking systems preferred.
