- Construction contract development and administration for Design Professional, CM@Risk, Design Build, and Job Order Contracting delivery methods.
- Reviews current contracts to ensure department and contractor adherence with progressive fee and contract requirements.
- Assists with the development and delivery of in-house training to promote participation and understanding of the contract process.
- Reviews contract templates to ensure compliance with Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR), federal, state and university policies and clause standardization.
- Coordination with legal, procurement, and project teams.
- Audit preparation and compliance support.
- Contract performance monitoring and documentation management.
- Participates in the Request for Quotation development process.
- Prepares reports, correspondence, and documents as needed.
- Clearly communicate to perform essential functions of the job.
- DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
- This position is based at ASU's Tempe campus and may require working from other campuses depending on operational needs.
- Salary Range:
- $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate experience and education. ASU offers a comprehensive benefits package with the State of Arizona.
- Experience in:
- Contract development for new construction or capital renovation projects.
- Effective negotiations and conflict resolution.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex documents.
- Designing and delivering presentation materials.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Interface with client groups with an emphasis on customer service.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of:
- Procurement principles and practices and contract law.
- Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR), University, State and Federal standards, regulations and guidelines.
- Interpreting contract terminology, writing, revising, and monitoring contracts.
- File/record maintenance and management.
- Contract management in a diverse environment.
